WHAT IS A ROOM-ESCAPE GAME?
A room-escape game is a new form of real life entertainment. You and your friends/family/colleagues, are locked together into a themed room. To escape, you will need to solve a set of clues, puzzles, and riddles within 60 minutes. It’s super fun, challenging, and social.
DO WE NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?
That’s definitely best. We have lots of sessions, so no need to book long in advance -- and we always try to accommodate last minute bookings, but make sure to always check our booking calendar online, or give us a call before coming in. We might be booked up or closed for a private event. Better to be safe then sorry!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
General admission is $25 per person for Find the Professor of the Occult and Escape from Escobar’s
General admission is $30 for The Lost Wand
All our games are FREE on your birthday, Just bring your ID with you! If your birthday falls on a Monday or Tuesday when we are not open, we will honor the birthday discount on either the Sunday before or Wednesday after your birthday (Sorry, no exceptions).
Specialty prices (Outside our normal business hours, minimum of 6 players) are as follows:
Anytime tickets are $35 per person
Private event tickets are $45 per person - includes extended game play, room rental, and pizza party
Team Building tickets are $50 per person - includes extended game play, room rental, & snacks
WHO IS IT FOR?
Our games are best played by players that are 13 and up, but you’re welcome to give us a call if you’d like to bring younger kids and we can chat about it!
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM CAPACITY?
For our Professor of the Occult game, you need at least 2 people to play. For our Escape from Escobar’s game, you need at least 4 people. Our recommended capacity for any room is 8 people. If your group is over 8, call us to see if we can allow an overbooking.
WE ARE TEAM OF LESS THEN 8 PARTICIPANTS. WILL STRANGERS PLAYS WITH US?
If the maximum capacity of the room is not reached by your group, there is a chance that other(s) will join your game.
HOW CAN I ARRANGE SO THAT I ONLY PLAY WITH MY GROUP?
We can book the room for your group only as long as you pay the equivalent of a minimum of 6 full price tickets. Call to request.
CAN I COME PLAY OUTSIDE YOUR OPENING HOURS?
We tend to reserve those times for Team Building events, but give us a call to see if we can accommodate your special request.
Our fee for playing outside business hours is $35 per player and your group must be a minimum of 6 players.
SOME SESSIONS DO NOT SEEM FULL BUT SAY CALL TO BOOK. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
In some cases, we might block sessions to call bookings only, especially for bookings made less then 24 hours in advance. Call us and we will probably be able to book you in at that time!
HOW CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY RESERVATION?
We have a no-refund policy. We can reschedule your adventure one time with no charge, with up to 48hrs notice. If you must reschedule beyond once, you will be subject to a $25 re-booking fee. Please call to change.
DOES ANY OF THE ADVENTURES HAVE AN AGE LIMIT?
Our games are generally meant for age 13+. Any child under the age of 15 must come with an adult or must provide adult consent.
IS IT SCARY?
No. The game is about using your wits and detective skills, it’s not about scaring you. That said, those games are made for adults and have adult themes. Give us a call if you need more info .
DO YOU HAVE BIRTHDAY SPECIALS?
We sure do. If you come in on your actual birthday date, you play for FREE! To book a birthday discount, you’ll have to come in, or call us at (413) 203-5519.
CAN WE DO A CORPORATE TEAM BUILDING EXERCISE / BIRTHDAY PARTY / SPECIAL EVENT AT PUZZLED?
You betcha! Puzzled is a perfect place for group event. We offer different packages for Team Building and parties. In order to rent Puzzled exclusively, a minimum of 2 hours is required. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your desired dates and times, and we’ll figure something out for you.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE ESCAPE?
You get to brag, because far from everyone escapes. You also get a photo on our social media pages! If your team is amongst the top ten fastest teams -- you get to be on our winners board!
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DO NOT ESCAPE?
You stay locked in forever! Mwahahaha! ...Nah, just kidding. If you make it past 50%, you’ll get the choice to know the solution on how to escape or not. If you haven’t made it past 50% of the game, we won’t give you the solution so you can come play again if you want!
DOES ANY OF THE ADVENTURES REQUIRE PHYSICAL STRENGTH?
Find the Professor of the Occult does not require any physical strength, however Escape from Escobar’s requires that at least one person in the group is physically able to crawl for a little bit.
IS THE BUILDING BARRIER FREE AND WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
The Professor of the Occult adventure is fully wheelchair accessible. Escape from Escobar’s is also designed to be wheelchair friendly but we do advise to call us in advance to discuss possible issues
WHAT IF I MY GROUP IS LATE?
Due to our back to back scheduling, we can not hold a game. Your game timer will start on time and if you are late, your game time will be effected. Please arrive 15 min before your game time to avoid any issues. Thank you for understanding.
WHAT IF PUZZLED IS LATE
Please be aware that a game may be held up if a repair or adjustment is needed. We apologize in advance if your game is delayed. If your time is grossly affected, management will be happy to work with you on resolving the issue.
If you think you have the correct answer to the weekly puzzle posted on our Instagram account (puzzledEscape), respond in the comment section of the corresponding post.
If you are the first individual to answer correctly, then you are the winner.
If you are the winner, the admin of the PuzzledEscape Instagram account will in the comment section announce you as the winner, the admin will then private message you through Instagram with two gift certificate codes that can be redeemed at any of our locations.
To be eligible for the competition, you must follow PuzzledEscape on Instagram.
